Company overview: California Vein and Wound Center (Napa, USA) is a medical center for varicose vein treatment. The company is based in California and has five clinics.
Project goals and strategy: improve website usability, increase visibility from search engines, and get in the top 10 organic search positions. A full audit of the website, the development of a new website, implementing an effective SEO plan.
Project background:
The client’s main goal was to promote his existing site and attract new clients. The region for promotion was California (USA) with 5 clinics around the county (in NAPA, Sacramento, Fairfield, Vacaville, Vallejo). The existing site turned out to be outdated and did not correspond to modern trends. It did not have enough relevant content and had no tags. Therefore, together with the client, we decided to create a new user-friendly site well adapted to SEO trends. The client wished to get his site on a new domain to comply stylistically with 5 clinics. We decided to create a universal domain without specifying clinic locations — treatyourlegs.com.
Process: During the website audit, we found out that it had been created with outdated technologies, and it would be impossible to make it to top positions. A lot of work was ahead. We started by collecting a semantic core.
Our specialists made a thorough analysis of the niche, analyzed the top 20 competitors in the Google Search Engine (USA), their strengths and weaknesses (structure, usability and visibility in the search). We did not forget about social media: analyzed the presence in different channels of promotions and inquired for references of competitors in popular networks. Based on this information we developed the site structure (on the picture below) and decided to promote both the clinic and the chief doctor’s brand. Following this concept, we have created prototypes for a new website and its pages.
An analysis of technical issues (website credibility, spam, number of pages in the Google index, age of the domain, number of external links, etc.) was also conducted.
Based on a complex study, we have developed a promotion strategy for the site, prepared technical requirements and layouts.
After a new website had been created, we did the following work:
— created meta tags for the main pages of the site (main page, types of diseases, types of treatment, contacts, etc.).
— prepared SEO optimized texts, relevant across the website pages (a native speaker copywriter was involved).
— used link-building tactics, one of the most effective tools in SEO
because it is a signal to Google that your site is a quality resource worthy of
citation.
Results: using effective SEO optimization methods and promotion strategy, we were able to boost constant organic search of the site, increase visibility, and create a detailed plan for further promotion. Although the new site on the domain treatyourlegs.com was only 2 months, the results were impressive. The average position in search engines is growing every day.
